I was thinking of writing about this since a long time. The draft was kind of ready in my mind, and now I have found time to write on this. Plan to put things down in this first part itself, but lets see if I need one more to complete it.

So here it goes....

Since birth we are into relationships, with parents, with sibblings, with relatives. Then we grow up, see the world around, make friends in different stages of life, we develop a relationship with them.

But for any relationship to built up, the most important aspect is the time ! You have to allow some time to get closer in a relationship. I think this time is useful in the development of understanding between the two.Unless there is an understanding between the two, the relationship cannot flourish properly. The development of understanding happens automatically and we dont think much about this. For me, I was aware this fact, but that was just like another line in the book which we tend to forget when things come to practical . I realised this recently when I was talking with my company HR. He was saying that people leave the companies soon enough in lure of money (ofcourse) and better job profile, and then I started thinking more about relationships !

Now a relationship could be with the living and even with the non-living or human made things.
For example -
1.  I am fond of cats (the real ones please), and have been with many since my childhood. But with new kittens it was different, I had to allow them to realise that I was not going to harm them in any way. After then they started coming to me, play with me, and even sleep in my bed ! But all this happened only after some time, days, not in just few minutes or hours.
2. When we get our hands on a new bike/car, we never go for a race with that, why ? Because we have to understand the dynamics of the machine, how is its pickup, how fast it brakes, how much we can tilt it ( a bike  ) so that we dont skid, the turning judgement, so on and so forth. If its a brand new bike, then the manufactures recommend us to follow the speed chart, the reason only being for the new engine to get properly functional. If we dont do so, it can damage the engine.
3. This is true with life as well. Be it a love affair or a marriage, we have to let some time for understanding each other. Specially in an arranged marriage, when the 2 have not met too many times (now a days this is changing) before marriage, they need to spend time with each other for knowing the habits and understanding the others nature.

This can go on for all where there is a relationship invloved.

But we have to know one more relationship, and that is with ownself, which many few talk about and there we need a master who would teach us to know ourself. Well here I not telling about ones nature or likings/dislikings but trying to reflect on the innerself, on what we are ! Its a great pleasure to know about it, and I have known about it, but there also you have to spend time ! Its not like a T.V., which one would switch on and would come to know what he is looking for.
He has to spend time in buliding this very special relationship, with ownself !
